Here's one of the best tips I got off my father. Some of you can already guess.
As the weather is now warm, if you haven't changed your brake fluid in the last two years, please do. I change mine every year.
When you get a new bottle of brake fluid, most of them are foil sealed (as brake fluid absorbs moisture (hygroscopic)). Since brake fluid can ruin your paint, when pouring it can be a right pain.
If you put two holes in the foil, one for air flow one for fluid.
The outgoing fluid will only flow a small controllable amount rather than the whole spout/outlet so you have less spillages and less risk!
The air hole is to displace the fluid loss, so you don't get that classic burp and the fluid will fly everywhere. Slow and steady is the key.
