The other day, I had someone ask me how I manage to eat doughnuts and chocolate and stay the size I am. It's a pretty simple answer, really. I know how much I eat.
On any day, I'll be able to give you a ballpark figure of how many calories I've eaten. I work out 4-5 days a week, which allows me to eat more. But at the end of the day, I know how many calories I can get away with eating.
Taking the time to educate myself on diet and nutrition really helped me. I'm by no means an expert or a doctor, but I know enough to be confident in what I'm eating. I'd honestly recommend everyone to do the same.
