Just like everyone else, I do get taken over by a million things I have to do in life. We always say that we can hardly find the time to have sufficient sleep, let alone time to workout. I haven't ran or had a proper workout sesh since Vietnam Mountain Marathon. That was on 23 Sep. Still have tonnes to do on my plate and I find myself averaging between 4-5 hours sleep at night. So I obviously feel really exhausted. I feel like Gollum and Smeagol. Smeagol says,"I want to sleep, run and workout because I know I will feel better", but Gollum says, "You need to keep going. You have too much to do. Don't fall asleep yet." But today, after a tough fight, Smeagol finally won! I was feeling lethargic even after a nap. But I dragged myself to changed into my workout gear and laid out my home gym. Even laying out my dumbbells and TRX was difficult. The struggle is real, but I did it. And I cannot tell you how happy I am to win this fight today. I finally feel that I am coming back to life. I was feeling so lousy and worried that I will probably not be able to even run 5km. But now I am sure that's just the Gollum talking in my head. So don't stop the fight. This can happen to anyone. But you just have to drag yourself to start, breaking that unhealthy lifestyle and get your life back in control. Only you yourself can fight this. .
