Holy Leg Day
I struggled through this workout from beginning to end. I haven’t lifted “heavy” in a whiiileee and boy did it show🤦🏼♀️
🦋I started with higher(ish) rep back squats- added in 3 sets of heavy box squats- and finished with 1x3 and 1x5 at 185lb back squats
🦋Next up was deadlifts: four sets, adding weight and decreasing reps every time.
-Today I focused on keeping my butt a little higher, which engaged my lower back and booty more than my legs. BUT it is more risky and can hurt your back if you aren’t careful. Gotta keep the core tight, drive your knees back, push off your heels, and squueeeeze at the top!
🦋I finished with a superset of lunges and single leg RDL’s and some cable kick backs for the booty🍑
