The idea for my new packaging was that I wanted it to be completely recyclable. The strong outer cardboard mail boxes are plain and can be reused. I sourced these from a few local businesses who would be willing to just give me their flattened, small and unbranded boxes for nothing. They are cheap to buy but I would then be ordering more to put out into the world. So as long as I went to collect them, I got them. These are then wrapped in brown paper securely(the tape being able to be taken off and the brown paper can be recycled) bubble and tissue wrap will be free from tape, and the actual branded box itself can be kept(of course!) or flattened and recycled. The bow the box is tied with can be used in crafting or tied around a present etc. All this was to try and limit adhesives, plastics and foams without spoiling the customers experience when their piece is delivered and has been carefully thought out. I know you know all of this anyway😉I just wanted to share with you that I have and will continue to play my part in leaving as little negative impact on the environment as I possibly can 😊👍xx .
