RECIPE: DOGGY BREATH BONES
Parsley contains limonene, which kills bad breath bacteria.
Makes 32 bones
A bunch of parsley, about 70g, finely minced, stalks and all
1 large carrot, about 130g, grated
60g cheddar cheese, grated
300g buckwheat flour
70ml olive oil
50ml hot water
Preheat oven to 180c/Gas 4
Mix together all the dry ingredients.
Trickle over olive oil and stir in water.
Turn out onto lightly floured surface and kneed into a firm dough.
Roll out to 4-5mm thick and cut out bisciut with cookie cutter.
Lay them out on a baking sheet and cook for 22 minutes. Until tarting ti crisp and the edges are slightly browning around the outside .
Cool on cooling rack.
They will keep in an airtight jar for a couple weeks.
