Real talk. My body is covered in calamine lotion. . . . . .
Many of you already know this, but I visited the doctor last week and they told me I likely have Lyme Disease. Now, don't fret - there are many misassumptions about this. But one things for certain - I have have a full blown rash. You know, the kind where you want to cut your skin off? Actually you probably don't know, because this is nothing like anything I've ever known. I've spent the past week trying my hardest not to itch, not scream, or cry. It sucks, really. Other than this uncontrollable skin irritation that seems to be rapidly spreading, I would say I feel just fine. . . . . .
I went back to the doctor this morning to see what else they can do for me; other than the 21 day 2X a day antibiotics (yuck) and the Benadryl, the calamine lotion (seems to be the fastest relief), the hydrocortisone, the apple cider vinegar (which burns like a MF). They gave me a steroid shot. They expect the rash to settle down in 24-48 hours. Fingers crossed. . . . . .
So, rather than obsessing over this, I am just going to let it go. I am going to continue to put all that is good into my body. I am going to focus on an energy that is grateful and proactive rather than frustrated and down. I'm going to let it go; I know with time it will go away. . . . . .
I am actively drinking my refreshing detox water and diffusing my essential oils, which give me a piece of mind.
