Had a great time attending last Saturday’s Urbanscapes Photography Workshop by @cris_magsino, sponsored by @henrysprofessional, @officialnikonph and @dmcihomesofficial.
Learned a lot on how to properly shoot and post-process cityscapes, like correction of aspects and distortions from lenses that make the buildings smaller or skewed.
Lens correction is really a must in Landscape Photography, especially when using ultra wide angle lens. Because UWA lenses tend to make the center component of the image smaller and stretched at the perimeter of the frame, the tall mountains that you’re shooting might look small in the image, which I am guilty of, judging from my previous images. Good thing it could be easily corrected in Lightroom and Photoshop.
Still learning a lot but I am happy to notice my own flaws from my past photos which I think is a sign of improvement. So cheers to the next photography. 🥂
