something that i enjoy doing more than running, off course.
I found myself having a natural ability on public speaking, performing and networking. Yet, I did struggle on growing my self-confident.
Back in 2012, I was the girl in the party who would sit in silent in the corner hoping that nobody notice. I avoided the crowd because I didn't know how and I felt awkward to start a conversation. Fortunately, I was surrounded by many great friends who were not only helping my english but also my personality development. They made me involved in conversation and gave me inquiries. They trained me to speak, to deliver my opinion as well as to stand for it, and to relax and to be confident.
By the time that I could control my fear, I was able to find my potentials and to know what I like to do or not to do. Well, to be fair, I am still doing it to today, asking myself on "what and how?"
If I try to analyze why I used to be that "girl who sit in silent in the corner", I think it was shaped by the experience and the environment during my school period. Well this might sound familiar to some of you too that people or society judged you, or other students laughed at you when you were different, or you were taught the wrong paradigms.
I know in life, there will always those kind of people who judge or throw you unnecessary comments. Therefore, learn to know yourself, standing for your own decision and be accountable on it, for the good and the bad.
As time pass, you'll find that your decisions are not always right, sometimes you regret it, but you learn. Yeah you make mistakes but the lesson you gain is the most valuable. Also to define your own life, that is you should proud.
