I missed day 180, so today is day 190!
What a difference 6 months can make when you DECIDE you want change, and commit to it.
The left is a frontal "before" picture I haven't shared until now. I was so upset when I took it. In fact, I have another photo of me from that day crying with my hand over my eyes, because I didn't want to see myself. ➡I decided I was done crying in front of the mirror.
➡I decided I done struggling to pull my "fat" jeans up over my ass.
➡I decided I was done going through the daily guilt trips of binging on junk food for no other reason than a FML attitude.
➡I decided enough was enough.
6 months into the plant based, gluten-free lifestyle and I'm down over 40lbs and 6 dress sizes.
I've been in a holding pattern until recently, pausing my workouts so I could focus on the sources and contributors to this AI pain of mine, but I've resumed my workouts and am ready for further transformation!
My home workouts and daily superfoods have been an incredible help with this lifestyle change, and it's so great as a busy mom to have one less thing to worry about in my day.
No stressing over whether my baby's safe and cared for at the gym daycare. No more worries about them catching a virus from the other kids. No more planning ahead on what muscles to work on. No more waiting around for weights and machines during the busy times at the gym. No more worries of awkward stares or judgements from others, or creepy looking dudes on a testosterone high... Seriously. 30 minutes, anywhere I want in my home, and I'm done and showered and eating a snack before I could pack up the kids and find a parking spot at the gym.
Best $99 I've ever spent. No, not every month. It's for a whole year. 😉
