LONG QUIRINO POST
Almost a year ago, my college classmates and I embarked on a 13-hour journey to the landlock province of Quirino. This year, as we stretch the leg to other parts of Cagayan Valley, I still feel like I owe Quirino a lot for the experience it gave.
Two things I was reminded of. One, it takes curiosity, bravery and wonder to discovery. You will be expecting cliff jumps, cave explorations, water tubing, among others. Little did we know that Quirino has a lot to offer. Their tourism campaign slogan would not be #DiscoverTheUndiscovered for no reason. Two, there are things only the naked eyes are allowed to see. We've been in so many places since I can remember but Quirino left us in awe! Aww. When we reviewed the photos, our cameras failed to give justice to what our eyes witnessed.
I encourage everyone to consider Quirino as their summer destination! Yay!
Kudos to their local tourism office for its excellent public service delivery in local tourism. Kung DILG secretary lang ako, binigay ko na agad yung Seal of Good Local Governance sa tourism, culture and the Arts assessment area. HAHAHA.
