Yesterday we headed to Confederation Park in Hamilton to race the @mec Burlington 10km at 9am. For this race my plan was similar to last weekend, I wasn’t racing just running. I haven’t been putting in the work to go all out, so I’ve just been enjoying the runs when I’m lucky enough to get out on one. I had 2 goals for the run, finish in 43 minutes unfortunately I missed that one but the other goal was to not break or drop pace dramatically and I was successful at that!
Before the race I had a breakfast smoothie with my @thenutribullet. I also took some @biosteelsports HPSM blue raspberry flavour 15 minutes before the run, and I also took some in my bottle during the run. After the run I took some of BioSteel’s chocolate peanut butter recovery formula, so yummy! And today the legs.... scratch that, the body feels great, now let’s see if I can make time for a nice trail run!?!?!? 🏃🏼♂️💙🏃🏼♂️💙🏃🏼♂️💙
