So I've had a quite of few people ask me about meal prep and all that it entails so I thought I would share some food for thought! Here I have provided the 9 seasonings that I use for my meal prep. 7 out of the 9 are herbs and dried spices. The other two are sea salt and a normal "all propuse seasoning salt". Can you guess what the 7 spices are? Everyday for the next 7 days I will post about 1 of the spices, why I use it, and what it's good for! Deadlift Cardio, 140kg X 10 reps X 3
So apparently you're supposed to do cardio when you're losing weight.
There is no chance in hell that you'll see me on a treadmill so this is my cardio and it definitely gets the heart pumping.
Even when doing Deadlifts with lower weight for higher reps, remember to use correct form:
-brace your core to keep your lower back solid throughout the movement
-remember to let the bar touch the ground but not bounce (it's called a DEADlift because it starts from a DEAD stop) -if grip strength is an issue as the set progresses, use straps. Deadlifts are there to train your posterior chain (back, glutes, hamstrings) so don't let your grip hold you back
-don't hyperextend at the top of the movement (like I noticed myself doing here) -videoing your sets from the side is a great way to self-correct problems
