Laying pipe from plan-view.
Some of my fondest memories in construction are from my time on pipe crews.
In my experience, pipe crews are the tightest knit group of people in the industry. They're truly family. They look out for one another, they'll predict what the others do before they do it, and they each know their place. They joke around all day but will easily outwork you at the same time.
In such a dangerous line of work this cohesion is crucial to the success of the project and the safety of the team. The safest environments are ones in which everyone looks out for one another - pipe crews are a brilliant example of this.
