SLOPPY JONES .... on zucchini?
Mondays are usually my no/low carb days which means I'm focusing on taste and volume.
This Sloppy Joe recipe by @mason_woodruff is one of my absolute favorites.
300 grams of spiralized zucchini gives me all the fullness minus ze carbs.
450 grams extra lean ground beef
45 grams onion
10 grams garlic
Fry up your garlic and onion and then add your beef. Cook on medium/low
While the meat is cooking, make your sauce!
- 105 grams ketchup
- 30 grams mustard
- 30 grams sugar free syrup
- 15 grams apple cider vinegar
- chili seasoning and paprika to your liking (this is what I use, you can use whatever seasoning you prefer)
Mix together and pour over meat once browned.
DO NOT MIX.
Take the temperature to a low and let everything simmer for 5 mins. Once done, mix together.
Makes two servings.
Macros for one serving: 370 calories, 14 fat, 11 carbs, 45 grams protein
