میری بے بسی کا عالم...... تیرے کُن کا منتظر ہے
میرے مہربان...... دکھا دے فیکُون کا نظارہ
Sometimes in your life, a moment or incident happens which was unplanned and literally makes you question everything.
This happened on this day too when I and friends decided to explore #Sufi shrines in #Multan but accidentally followed a different path on Google map and ended up here.
This is a shrine of Shamsuddin Sabzwari or known as Shah Shams. Many people confuses him with Shams of Tabriz and I used to think the same. He was a Muslim Sufi missionary from Sabzawar in present-day Afghanistan.
Whenever I visit any shrine, I normally just hang around looking at the people, their rituals, and sometimes I pray for the saint too since I am not that devoting kind. However, on that particular day, I have no idea how and why but I ended up walking into the main area where his grave is. A person standing on the door gave me a Chaddar (religious scarf which you lay down on the grave) and I just took it and went in. Then once I was inside, another helper there made me lay down that Chaddar, I stood there for few mins and while coming out he gave me another Chaddar as to take back home. In this whole process, I was totally in trance and blank. And to this day I still don't know why I went in and why I did all of that?
I was not supposed to be there at first place anyway. Is there such thing as being called by someone? Guess I will have to go back there soon.
