Out of all the 21 summers I've gotten to experience so far, this one must have been one of the most enriching and inspiring.
I had some lovely moments at home in Germany with my best friends and family next to what has to be my favourite lake. I got to spend time in France, practising French, volunteering on a lovely vegetable farm with Workaway, visiting Bordeaux and staying at @plumvillagefrance, a beautiful Buddhist monastery. At last, I've just returned from my trip to Costa Rica, saved sea turtles with @la_tortuga_feliz and @last_widecast (one more off the bucket list!), hiked to the most magnificent places, improved my Spanish at Morpho Language School, took my first ever surf lesson (yes, I was riding the third wave), jumped off a 45 m Tarzan swing, saw lots of animals in their natural habitat (Sloths! Wales! Quetzals!) and so much more. All while giving social media a little break hence why I've been pretty quiet about it all. A big THANK YOU goes to everyone I've had the pleasure to meet along the way, I'm hoping to see all of your faces again at a moment in life sooner than later🙂
On top of that, I am thrilled to share that I have officially started my own freelance business and I still get to work with @juliaotiliaorganicjewellery and @bjornagency who I've both interned with in the Netherlands for several months. If any of this sounds interesting to you, you'll be able to read about my experiences on my blog turtlely tangled. I've decided to give it some rebranding and will cover the topic of a sustainable, international and inspirational lifestyle (Think sustainable fashion, eco lifestyle, life abroad, mastering languages, slow travel, book reviews & a bunch of essays). The new website is in the works! Now off to England for a final year before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in International Fashion Business at @ntuart🎓
Thanks for reading, much love & Pura vida🌺
Ps - ¿Quién de mis amigos hispanos quiere ayudarme con mi español? Tengo que seguir a practicando🙂
