Phytonutrients are one of the primary reasons to eat lots of produce. They are the part of the plant that is protective or disease preventive. Phytonutrients vary from plant to plant so it's important to have a really diverse nutrition plan that includes all sorts of fruits and veggies. So get to choppin! And yes, all that work? So worth it.
