I’m kinda playing Russian roulette here.. my husband left a yogurt in the hot car for 45 mins and put it back in the fridge, we have so many vanilla @siggisdairy I don’t know which one it was🤷🏼‍♀️ hopefully the bacteria in the yogurt will save me from sickness 🤞🏼This is my favorite no cook breakfast. Some mornings simple is best but I still need something to fuel my body. This mornings bowl is @siggisdairy 4% vanilla, @naturespathorganic cashew granola, @manitobaharvest hemp seeds & dark 🍒 I find the whole milk yogurt to keep me full longer than the fat free. Are team low fat or full fat yogurt?

Banana bread heaven 😍 made @lucywatson vegan chocolate banana bread from at the weekend and have been eating for brekkie when home, this version was particularly delish >> topped with coconut yog, strawberries & jam! 🍓 I’m off today and got some house viewings in Didsbury so quite excited 🏡

Check it out my friends. A new recipe for you all the way from France. Well, I'm actually in Italy at the moment but I created this one a few weeks ago when we were travelling through Paris. It had been a few very full on days of exploring and both Robbie and I were in need of a slower day, this naturally involved heading to the market, lying in the park and cooking a healthy veggie filled dinner and this super tasty dessert. Gluten free of course because I had snuck in a few too many croissants and pieces of amazing bread that week. The strawberry one is low FODMAP, the peach is not, but you can use almost any fruit you like and it'll be delicious. Seasonal fruit is always best 😉 recipe link is in profile ❤️

I’ve been struggling with the drive and motivation to be creative with my passion: nutrition. One of my favorite things about summer is gardening - it’s relaxing, and so cool to watch something grow from nothing. I planted seeds and have neglected for majority of the summer this year. Today a friend reminded me to never lose my passion. .

Every year I try to grow something I haven’t before. I planted quite a few seeds and forgot what they were... this years surprise: EDAMAME 💚. .

I’m really trying to refocus here and respark my passion. Anyone else ever feel like they’ve been in rut in their passion/career, etc? Let’s talk! For now my focus will be seeking recipes to use all these lovely beans 😍

Vegan soy burgers with an avocado and rocket salad with cherry tomatoes, pine nuts and caramelised onion hummus. 10 minutes to prepare (right up my street) and a low-carb vegan meal. Coincidentally, I’m actually going to Marbella this weekend and here I am with my low-carb meal. What are your thoughts on ? What effect do carbohydrates have on your weight? Public health guidelines recommend a high carbohydrate diet but a low-carb diet has been recognised as being safe and effective at least in the short term by influential organisations such as @diabetesuk and has been shown to be an effective weight loss tool. What are your thoughts on a low-carb diet? Does anybody follow a low- or moderate-carbohydrate approach?

Today’s bowl has roasted potato; baked maple tofu; avocado and a salad of baby spinach, radish, zucchini, sugar snap peas and avocado-lime mayo

Remember if you’re on the elimination phase of the diet you need to limit your avo to 1/8 and sugar snap peas to 4, zucchini to 66g and tofu to 170g - also make sure that you choose firm and not silken! .

My new favourite drink: Soda water & fresh lime! Super simple but refreshing and delicious 🍹 Did you know that limes are thought to have first grown in Indonesia which explains why the lime is such a staple ingredient in most traditional dishes! Limes are also a great source of Vitamin C and have proven to have antibacterial and antifungal properties. Try squeezing lime over a fresh fruit platter, it’s simply delicious 🍉

Here’s another lunchbox for follow along this hashtag for toddler lunchbox ideas. I use the tip from @veggiesandvirtue of packing love it foods with foods she is still learning to like. Everything in her lunch box is a like it or love it food minus the egg whites. They went untouched yesterday when I gave her this but you never know when she will get adventurous and try a bite of something new. Any other moms have lunch boxes come home mostly full? I have the teacher save hers and sometimes we have the things that are still good like fruit/nuts as a snack after school.

Phytonutrients are one of the primary reasons to eat lots of produce. They are the part of the plant that is protective or disease preventive. Phytonutrients are a part of the army of phytochemicals that the plant uses to beat the bad guys—pests, threats, and competitors. They can come in a number of different forms...carotenoids, flavonoids, polyphenols...to name a few. Phytonutrients vary from plant to plant so it's important to have a really diverse nutrition plan that includes all sorts of fruits and veggies. So get to choppin! And yes, all that work? So worth it.

And as much as possible, honor your food sensitivities and check in with your hunger… we usually end up here if we’ve neglected it for too long and haven’t nourished with the right things along the way.
