💥💥 Yesterday a family member texted me stating: He was frustrated because he’s been eating salads 🥗 every day and working out 🏋 but he’s NOT seeing any results 🤔.. He wanted to know what he was doing "WRONG" and what he needed to change in order to see results… Needless to say when I asked: What ingredients did the salads pertain - it didn’t take long to see why he wasn’t getting the results… Listen 🔊: I’m not posting this to bash anyone’s method of Weight Loss or choice for food 😜… I’m a strong believer in having balance and flexibility… Keep in mind: This is your journey and you chart your own course.. I’m only posting this because 1) It's a real life experience - 2) I keep it 💯with everything I post - and 3) I know this is a common issue amongst weight loss journeys … It’s really not an issue - it's just (a lack of knowledge) with making decisions on what to EAT 😋… NOT 🚫 all salads 🥗 are the best option… The more ingredients you add to a salad 🥗 … The more calories, micronutrients, and macros are increased 🤔… Both meals have the SAME amount of chicken 🍗 that is weighed by scale… And - believe it or not it is the same amount of veggies that is weighed by scale.... I'm not saying eat chicken and veggies everyday 😷 - At the end of the day - EAT TOWARDS YOUR GOALS - and focus on what's SUSTAINABLE over a long period of time ... I know zucchini pasta has been around for a while but I've never actually tried it before. I love pasta as much as the next person but i always have a problem with portion control. I do love a big bowl of it. But looking at the calorie difference, I sure will try zucchini! It looks just as filling but without the calorie intake 😘👍🏻have you tried it before? ☕️Sometimes, I think, people use exercise as a punishment. Because maybe they ate something "bad" or "unhealthy" and feel guilty about it. Or maybe they're going to a party later on and feel like they need to "earn" their calories. Or maybe they just aren't happy overall and feel like losing weight or building muscle or getting abs or whatever will finally make them feel happy and confident and valuable.

🦄Listen. Exercise is NOT a punishment. Don't exercise to beat yourself down or "earn" the right to eat or make you feel bad for how you look.

🐣Exercise because you love it (or at least value the benefits of it). Exercise as a celebration of what your body can do - not what someone says it should look like. Exercise because you're already sexy AF no matter what and working out just makes you happier and healthier and feel better overall.

🐿My thoughts? I honestly believe the way to be happy -- the only way to be happy -- is to, first, love yourself unconditionally. Right now. In this moment.

Difference between this years physique compared to last years.

This physique to me shows no days off, it doesnt have the " i cant be bothered" excuse, it doesnt miss meals and doesnt wait for the week after to start something. This physique to me shows purpose, determination, sacrifice, and concistency.

Although i have been gyming for multiple years now this was the first time i was able to conquer the fear of getting "fat", and really make some improvements to my body and as i begin to lose weight now those improvements become more and more apparent.

Looking at this picture now i believe the me 4 years ago would have paid millions to look like this but as you know how the saying goes " always hungry never satisfied" i am so far away from where i want to be in the future.

For now lets bring on the shreds and bring out the best possible physique we can with the size improvements we made in the growth season. .
