ITS FRIDAY😃 which means time for a #FoodFriday I think I did pretty good this week at keeping my portions small and food healthy. Day 12 I did go to IHOP for Father's Day and had an omelette and also had that for dinner as left overs, so there wasn't much of a picture to post for that day but I'm loving the way eatting healthier is making me feel! #foodfriday#letseat#stayhealthy#staymotivated#smallportion#diet#dietideas
My lunch today. Grilled garfish with some cauliflower and yellow carrots. Very tasty! But I thought it would be more fish. Still a bit hungry :) Which is ok as I'm going out to a nice restaurant for dinner. Will have more room for the right food!
Anyone else obsessed with Kombucha too? 🙋🏼 It's full of B vitamins, probiotics and antioxidants! Probiotics have been found to aid in digestion and may help with irritable bowel syndrome, and other digestive issues! I'm not saying go out and brew your own, but it is still 100 times better than drinking a can of Diet Coke when you're wanting something fizzy and sweet! And trust me, I used to be addicted to Diet Coke... kicking that habit was HARD, but you just have to find alternatives that you love just as much!! Oh, and start loving YOURSELF more, you'd be surprised how much you don't want those you love to drink crappy sugary drinks that are bad for them!! 😉😘 #foodforthought
Do you need a healthy, delicious, satisfying and super easy and quick afternoon snack? Grab a handful of pecan nuts. They are high in folic acid, calcium, magnesium, zinc. Also they have lots of vitamin A, B and E. Great for your hair, skin and nails! Just limit them to 15-20 if you're watching your weight.
It takes around 21 days to make or break a habit.. . Which new habit could you benefit from? . *Be mindful of your portion sizes at meal times. *Carry that water bottle around with you and stay hydrated. *Fill up on veggies and protein. *Try to get 3 workouts in a week. *Take the stairs instead of the lift. *Limit alcohol to once a week. *Swap your snacks for some healthier alternatives.
Once your mind is used to doing these things they will almost become automatic 👍
