I don't always have yogurt, but when I do, I choose siggis 👌
This is a triple cream 9% fat yogurt made from grass fed cows which ensures superior quality over the majority of the Greek yogurts on the market.
The reason for it being the super high fat version is because fat fills you up. A snack shouldn't be something that's very low in calories and fats, because if so your insulin levels spike up, then an hour later you're left tired and hungrier than you were when you had the snack, which would lead to more calories eaten in total by the end of the day rather than just having the higher calorie snack to begin with.
I usually don't suggest snacking with my clients because of the fact that it is shortening your bodies window of time where it can be burning fat (in between meals). Constant snacking and eating 5-6 times per day will ensure that insulin levels are up all day which tells your body "store store store" and you're never able to burn.
My suggestion would be to add whatever snack(s) you may have throughout the day yogurt, Apple, banana, etc after you eat dinner and or lunch. Use it as a desert instead of a meal by itself, and you'll feel more satisfied, you'll have a better control over your fat burning efforts, and you won't feel deprived.
Doing this little trick will keep your calories at the same amount for the day, but accelerate how much fat you lose, because you are increasing the time between meals ensuring that you can burn more body fat.
