If there's ONE single lesson I hope to teach to my daughter, it's that she capable of amazing things. .
It really makes me sad when people don't realize their potential. They go through life with a self-imposed ceiling on what they assume is their upper limit. Whether it's never reaching their boundaries in the fitness journey, never seeking job promotions, or just going through life assuming their mediocre situation is just the cards they've been dealt. .
Personally, I made a decision 3 years ago to follow my passion pursuing a career in health and fitness. I did this because I KNOW I am capable of amazing things in this field. I mean, Construction Project Management was pretty neat, but it wasn't what lit my fire and I didn't want to accept a lifetime of punching the clock. I wanted more for myself, and I wanted to have a greater impact. As I gather steam on this new path, I'm so excited to work my ass off to help as many people as I can. .
Think about all the sensational rags-to-riches stories in the world. The one thing they all have in common is staying focused and dedicated toward the goal. All the people who have lost 100+ pounds. All the CEO's who started out answering phones. The everyday people who have raised thousands of dollars towards a charitable cause. Anyone who has started at the bottom and worked their ass off to get to where they are. These are AMAZING THINGS, and ALL OF US are capable of them. .
When people believe in themselves and stay focused on a particular goal, they're capable of amazing things. Nothing can stop the determination of someone with a vision!
