Important question here- are you truly training towards your goal and destination or are you just exercising?
There's nothing wrong with just exercising and working out- for happiness, health, your "me time". That's why I do it. But if you have an exact goal- make sure you are doing what needs to be done to reach it. Exercise is a vehicle for helping you get to your destination. But you must make sure you're not "driving" around aimlessly in the gym and with your diet- if so, it will take you longer and possibly be harder.
Make sure you're setting yourself up for proper progression- in your lifts, cardio, nutrition, sleep, surrounding yourself with positivity. There is more than one road to reach a goal- but you have to make sure you're following it in order to reach that destination. Don't get lost.
