Thank you again to all the LEOS who serve, protect and make a difference in our communities. National Police Week wrapped up yesterday and I didn't get around to posting this. May God comfort all the spouses and families who have lost their LEOS. Prayer is a beautiful way to honor our LEOS and show our appreciation. Prayer is powerful and it matters! I have posted the complete 7 day prayer devotional on my blog that I hope and pray blesses you and keeps us all accountable. Link in my profile.
Lord, You are faithful. Thank you for Who You are and all that You've done in (husband's name) life. May the hardships in his life always bring him closer to You and build his character into a godly one. Help him to "give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Lord, You know how tough, stressful, mentally and physically exhausting his job is. I pray You strengthen him and bless him with peace (Psalm 29:11). Help him to always know that grateful prayer will bring him peace. I pray that in everything by prayer, petition and thanksgiving, he will present his requests to You and Your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). Thank you for my LEO and I pray gratefulness will be a desire of his heart. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
