Update from #dennischun
Wow ... am so deeply touched with the news that the Five-0 Redux has broken. Want to thank Peter Lenkov and CBS for upgrading Taylor, Kimee and myself to the regular cast of Hawaii Five-0.
For me this has deep personal meaning first because of my father's association with the original "Hawaii Five-0". He, Zulu, Al Harrington, Herman Wedeymeyer, Moe Keale and Jimmy Boere truly pioneers and it is so very humbling to walk in their footsteps.
I am also moved because of what this means to our local acting communlty. Too often, our local actors, have not been given a chance to show their talents when various productions have come to town. Hopefully, this is the beginning of positive change in that area. I know that, given the chance, our local actors can shine so very bright.

If I may, I would like to take a moment to thank a few people. First a deep aloha to to Leonard and Rose Freeman, their vision 49 years ago placed Hawaii before the world. A heartfelt mahalo to Peter Lenkov who took that vision and made it relevant to the 21st century. Of course, CBS must be thanked for believing in Hawaii. Am so blessed to work with such a great cast and crew. I am so grateful for their unselfish support. And I shall always be grateful to Daniel and Grace for all they did for Five-0 and Hawaii.
To my acting coach Scott Rogers - Your lessons and challenges certainly helped pave the way. I feel a deep sense of appreciation to ADR agency and Ryan Brown whose been with me since the very beginning.
And a special shoutout to Lincoln who does such a great job managing this page.
And of course a huge hug goes to Laura whose patience, faith and love has been a key to my success. You are such a blessing.
Most of all, a very heartful mahalo must go to all of you. In eight years we have experienced a lot of ups and downs. Through it all, your support had stayed steadfast and meant so much. I know that I would not achieved this milestone if not for your al
