With all of the excitement about the eclipse 🌘, I almost forgot to check on the Kakuno pen barrels. (Oh. Did I forget to mention I got more than one just in casers? 😬) I am happy to report it totally worked. These are now sealed and red-to-GO!
For those of you that might be interested, I tried 3 different methods. First was to put the epoxy from the inside-out. Unless you have very steady Operation like hands, I don't recommend it because you get epoxy on the inside. It does kind of give a cool look to it though. 🗜
The second was to wrap 3mL plastic around the barrel bottom and fill it. This worked fine. 🚰
The last was to just wait until the epoxy hardened more and then apply it with a toothpick to fill the holes and put a thin layer on the bottom of the barrel. Not only was this the less fiddly way, it worked great. 🖋
