In my first post I come to talk about sweeteners and show you my top 5️⃣ favorite sweeteners♥️.
Sweeteners are substances that serves to give a food or product a sweet flavor😋.
The first thing I must say is that there are 2️⃣ types of sweeteners: natural🌺 and artificial👨🔬.
I do not consume artificial sweeteners (such as saccharine or aspartame) because although they are not proven their controversies have not been denied either, so for health it does not bother me to eliminate them from my diet; and obviously I will not talk about them in this post.
I’m going to talk about my favorites natural sweeteners; and I want to make it clear that no, white sugar is not on my list, because it causes a glycemic imbalance, it can cause cancer with a diet low in fiber and does not provide any nutrients, only empty calories. My favorites are:
1️⃣”Stevia”🍃🔜is a natural sweetener that although it does not provide energy, it gives us 400 times more sweetness than ordinary sugar, 7 times more antioxidants than green tea🍵 , reduces and controls cholesterol, helps fight diabetes and regulates blood pressure. Watch out‼️ I'm talking about Stevia 100% natural, not the one sold in supermarkets.
Suitable for vegans🌱, vegetarians🐮 and diabetics🍬.
2️⃣”Honey”🐝🔜this molasses is an authentic wonder of nature, it is really delicious and contains a lot of nutrients, minerals and vitamins (A, C, D, B1, B2, B3, B5 and B6). Watch out‼️ I’m talking about 100% pure and natural honey🍯, not what they sell in supermarkets, which has more sugar than honey🐝🍯.
Suitable for vegetarians🐮.
3️⃣”Natural Unrefined Sugar”🔜as demerara or muscovado, because not being refined contains all the nutrients and vitamins of sugarcane. Watch out‼️ Check that it is 100% natural unrefined sugar, not the fake brown sugar, which is refined sugar painted or roasted.

4️⃣Agave Nectar🌿🍯🔜it has a sweetening power greater than ordinary sugar and a very low glycemic index.
