TVD has now officially ended. It might take me a while to wrap up my head around that fact tbh, bc this show used to mean so much to me. It always will and I'll never be sorry that I started it no matter how heart shattering it is to let it go after 8 long years. Everyone has their opinion about the finale, so here's mine: I loved it. It was emotional, full of joy and bittersweet. Stefan's sacrifice sucked but he got to redeem himself the way he thought he needed to. He earned his peace. They gave us some closure by finishing the plot with Katherine and the hellfire which was nice. The only thing I will not lie about is my disappointment about how they handled the Delena reunion. We've waited for two years to get them back and we thanked with a two second clip of them holding hands. Needless to say I'm a bit bitter. So yes, the finale scene means they got married and had their human life together but we didn't even got a glimpse of it. We didn't even hear Damon talk about hat his life had become when everyone else did! Honestly who cares about Matt telling us he wants to run for mayor? I want to know how Damon handled being human again after 160+ years. But well, I'm sure there'll be plenty of amazing fan fictions that will make up for the lack of DE interaction. This morning when I woke up I was depressed knowing that Delena had died, lost the characters really. But it also gave me comfort to know that they're in the afterlife together. And most of all that the TVD Family will be one of the most amazing community I've had the chance to be a part of. So thank you. ✨ #TVDForever #DelenaIsEternal #TVDFamily
Also: I will still be posting pics of Ian on here, mostly because I will always adore him but also bc I have to find a way to delete all of the pics I have on my phone without crying like a baby. Knowing they'll stay 'alive' somewhere brings me joy. Hope you'll enjoy it as well.
