#tiptuesday | Don’t ditch the veil! Well, at least not entirely. We’ve heard from quite a few brides lately who feel veils are “outdated” ... GASP! Now, there is no doubt that the meaning behind the veil has changed over the decades. No, most of us aren’t wearing veils anymore to prove that we didn’t give away the milk for free, if you know what I’m saying. But you can bet that a gorgeous veil does add romance and elegance to your overall bridal look! You don’t have to walk down the aisle with tulle in your face (unless, you want to), and you don’t have to wear it all night.
Your first step is to figure out which veil style is right for you and coordinates well with your dress. Catherdral, mid length, blusher or short. You can be sure there is a veil out there for you! Depending on your chosen hairstyle, you can wear your veil high, low, and even underneath. So don’t let your hair be an excuse either!
Now, don’t get me wrong, maybe a veil just isn’t for you. And that’s okay too! But if your on the fence about whether or not to ditch the veil because you think they are “out of style”, let me be the first to tell you that they aren’t! In fact, veils are bigger (literally and figuratively) than EVER!
I mean, without a veil would shots like these be quite as romantic and ethereal?!
Wear the veil and rock it, girl!
