Decided today it was time to open up the dusty shoe box and slip these little numbers on and have a little practice run... just incase !! Oh the posing is very rusty 🙊. One thing that has been drummed into me recently by my own Coach is that whilst a date and a goal have been set - that it's more important to focus on the daily practices rather than an outcome.
This has helped me so much (although I need a gentle nudge/reminder still at times). I hope this helps others too who may get a little fixated on the "goal date" as opposed to the daily processes, that if you follow them, you will simply be just hedging closer each day to the next phase or place you wish to be. ✅ each training session you make it count ✅ each meal you have is in line with your goals ✅ each day you focus on all the things you can control ✅ set yourself just one single non negotiable task a day - accomplish that and you'll eliminate so much unnecessary stress.
So whilst I am doing all these things, I do not know if I will be where I hope to be by a set date - what I do know is that every day I follow this procedure, then I'm doing all that I can and that the journey becomes the greatest reward.
Take your days like this and you'll be surprised at how much easier it truely becomes.
