I’ve really been focusing on my deadlifts lately, which is just one of the reasons for the lack of videos. My goal is to deadlift 200 lbs by the end of summer. Before, my goals were mainly appearance oriented, but I got kind of bored with that. So I decided to take a new approach to the gym and it has been SO FUN. Last week I could only push out 1 rep at 145. This week I pulled 145x2 (first video) and 150x1 (second video & my new PR!) 🤭 Seeing myself get stronger is so dang rewarding. I’m excited to also start working towards squatting heavy. That will be a VERY long journey, but I’m hoping to get up to *maybe* bodyweight by the end of the year! We’ll see though. Knee health comes first. Finished my cut today! Sitting at a new body weight of 165 lbs. (192-165 over 4 months) . I was pleasantly surprised with this deadlift pr 😁 . Squat and bench have decreased at this point, I need to get used to these new leverages.
