LEG WORKOUT:

I train legs twice a week. One day is more concentrated on building my deadlif/hamstrings/glutes; the other more towards my squat/quads (front muscle in your leg)😤

The best two muscle builders for your hamstrings and glutes is the normal deadlift and hipthrusts😩😤
2. Exercise 2 is a TEMPO squat. Pick a weight you can handle relatively comfortably, as you go downwards count to 3 and then explode up. 3 sets of 10 reps will build your endurance for your normal squat on your squat day☺️😊
3. Romanian deadlift. This is like a normal deadlift except you tilt more forward, the weight will be over your toes instead of the middle of your foot and you won't let go of the weight😖
4. ISOLATION: if you really want to build your glutes and hamstrings add in a few of these: Hip thrusts; Abductor machine (good girl bad girl machine😂); hamstring curls😌

I generally do 3 leg exercises and 3 back exercises as I'm not concerned about building much bigger legs 🤷‍♀️ -

Hook grip rules!!! Hook grip is seriously the best thing that happened to me since I pressed 225 for the first time! Aside from that - took me 1 year to fix my form. Some time a year ago I lifted 405 for an unsure single and now, finally- it is a solid single! Can’t be happier. Just did 405 for a double- tried to repeat for another set for a video but felt like my form may get compromised in the second rep so didn’t go with it. #deadlifts #deadliftpr #hookgrip #hookgripeverything

Week 1 day 1 of @mp_deadlifts 16 week program 😁 I'm not 16 weeks out from my meet yet, so I'm taking this program out for a test drive to see if it's gonna be my real program for the meet.

HUUUGGGE PR FOR ME !!! I hit 285# on deadlifts!!! I failed my first attempt, took a minute to reset and had a fucking grind on the second attempt but I locked out!! First two clips is 285#, last clip was 275#

-the squat felt like and crisp, no issues what’s over, I’ll be hitting 2 plates real soon.
-the deadlift was definitely a fu**ing grinder ! It had me drained after the 4th rep but still got the last rep with clean form ! Still working on my form and not letting my ego get in the way! -WORK ON YOUR FORM! It’s gonna help you in the long run and not injure yourself,I see far to many people not lifting correctly with weight they can’t even control, work on form and everything will follow.... 315 lbs deadlift real real soon ! Maybe a week or two ?🤔

Saturday Night Loser Workout went something like this: 1) Unplanned, off program PR attempt of 345 after working sets, because I was feeling a little froggy ✔️ and 2) Five okayish sets of bench 140x3. ✔️ So, that's not bad for a girl who once struggled with 15 LB dumbells. 🙄 As for the deadlift, I'm stoked, but also I just want to be in the 405 club.
