VARIG LOG McDonnell-Douglas DC-10-30F - PP-VMT - GRU - October 12th 2007
More than ten years ago, this was part of GRU air traffic. We didn't have the A380, but we had DC-10s. We didn't have 787's, but we had 727's. We didn't have A350's, but we had DC-8's. We didn't have the variety of airlines, but we had some really interesting types here. Well, times go by.
Gods of spotting: I'm sorry for missing the opportunity to make some really good photos of these classics, but lack of skill and a not so good camera just made me lose some opportunities that will not come back again.
Trivia: Brazil had at least six more DC-10 operators along the years. VARIG, VASP, Skyjet, Transair (and a rare DC-10-15), Brasmex, MTA (the last Brazilian DC-10 operator). VARIG LOG (Brazil - 2012)

Delivered new to VARIG in July 1980.
Converted to Freighter.
Transferred to VARIG Cargo, then VARIG LOG in 2006. WFU
Stored at VCP in October 2008. Flown to MZJ (Marana Pinal Park) in August 2009 as N576SH. Stored.
Now: Scrapped in September 2017.
