I’m headed out on my first “long” road trip soon. I’ve traveled many miles. Most I’ve driven alone and always in a hurry. This trip is different. I’m taking 6 days (1 work day mid week) to travel 2,100 miles. I’ve never taken a trip this slow. I’m excited to choose my route, get lost a little and have time on the way to soak it all in. I hope to stop at pointless pastures, take pretty pictures and really sink into my thoughts. I hope to find a dirt road, see cows grazing, and farmers working. I will find beauty in a simple day laced with the rush of the world and the grit of my community #indtradcrew. And in that moment I will be moving slow enough to remember why I started @industrial_tradition and be reunited with the clear picture of where I am headed. In life. In the long game. It’s weird you know, I always thought I would grow where I was planted. Turns out I was living in a drought. Now, I feel most alive when I’m either all alone #workinghard & #daydreamin or surrounded by people who have #toughroots & #wilddreams. People like you. I’m so dang glad I found you. Here’s to a new adventure. I’ll take you with me.
