Language is more than just words – it’s a bond that stretches through time, connecting us to our ancestors and collective history. The importance of First Nations languages is the focus of LAND & LANGUAGE – a new live art exhibition opening this July at Wollongong Central.
Produced and curated by @ambushgallery and presented with @wollongongcentralofficial, LAND & LANGUAGE will be on display from Monday, 3 July until Sunday, 6 August, open daily during centre trading hours and free of charge.
Artists include David Cragg (@davidcragg), Noni Cragg (@nonicee), Blak Douglas (@blakdouglas), Peter Hewitt and Warwick Keen, with disciplines including painting, sculpture, and photography. Be at Levels 2 & 3, the Gateway Building, from 10am until 2pm daily (3 July to 14 July) to see the large-scale live painted installations come to life.
