You can satisfy a sweet tooth without sabotaging your nutrition regimen! In parts of the Middle East, dates and dried figs are treated like dessert. Super sweet, but full of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. Some cultures dip figs and dates in pure tahini for a savory sweet dessert (which also adds some healthy fats).
