Lowest cost per click is apparel and travel. Highest is finance. It makes sense when you think about the revenue from one sale.
Finance can make ££££ from one customer by spending less than £3 on a click.
Apparel make ££ per customer in most cases. Travel is quite efficient - low conversion but also low costs. Interesting!

Everyone wants results fast. When we start a program, start a new gym routine, or even start a new career for that matter—we want change to happen instantly. We want trends in data (whether its decreases in weight loss, increases in strength, or beating out a learning curve in a new position at work) to take a nice, smooth, linear path in the desired direction of progress. HOWEVER, progress, no matter the realm, is not going to be linear. It is not going to be a nice, clean line in the direction you are heading towards because everything in life happens with adjustment📊

When looking to lose weight, for example, it is not realistic to jump on the scale each morning and see your weight drop each time. It is what we expect if we have been strictly following a nutrition and exercise plan; however, the truth is, there are so many factors that affect our progress, that every single day will not produce a desired result. It’s important to remember that with weight loss, to see a downward trend in your data, consistency is going to be YOUR BEST FRIEND👯

Take a look at my graph pictured above☝🏼This maps out my weight loss over the course of the past two months working with my coach. Not one of those weeks DON’T have fluctuations of some sort in my weight. Has my weight taken a downward trend over the course of 2 months? Absolutely! And to that I am thrilled! However, look at how staggered the data is! This downward trend happened with hard work, dedication and CONSISTENCY👌🏼

The key with B2B content is to make potential buyers aware of the problem, educate them on how it might be solved and then put yourself forward as a problem solver.
Don't do these things all at once. It's a funnel, where you provide the right content at the right time.
A large % of buyers have read at least 5 pieces of content before they even contact a sales person.
If you're in B2B and you don't do content, you're missing a trick!

The average annual marketing spend for UK SMEs is £24k. That's higher than I thought so great! When you consider that over 99% of these companies have less than 50 employees, that's really great.
But are these companies spending an average of £24k on the right things? At what point does an SME start spending this kind of money? I ask because startups and companies with fewer than 5 or 6 employees are hardly spending on marketing. A grand a year at most.
Part of my research in the coming weeks is to find out what kind of SME understand the value of marketing. What industries, how many employees they have and what exactly they spend on.
Ultimately, I want to know if they get good outcomes. These companies understand the importance of marketing and I'd like to support them in getting the business growth they deserve.
