We moms spend most of our time working, caring for kids and spouses, cooking, cleaning, paying bills, etc. On evenings and weekends, we feel bad not spending time with the family and devoting those hours to them. And we wonder how to make time for ourselves for exercise, hobbies or just hanging out with our friends.
Carving out some “YOU" time to refresh and relax away from caring for everyone else is the fuel that keeps us upbeat rather than beat up! It is our responsibility to nurture ourselves so we can be the best we can be – not only for our children and our husbands but more importantly ourselves!
On Thursday, October 12th, 10:30 to 12p, Darling Way will be all about YOU. Let us indulge you with mimosas and breakfast bites as we relax and unwind together. Beth, who had five kids in ten years while also running a solo law practice, knows from too many years of experience how hard it is for moms. She will lead a discussion about ways to hold onto the best of our pre-mom selves, even while we are devoted to the often overwhelming demands of motherhood.
