Some people just drink their coffee just as a habit, hardly paying any attention on how it tastes, how hard it was to harvested the fruits/beans or how they were roasted. Since I ran out of coffee yesterday, I decided to roast some beans this early morning. I guess the last time I did it was about 2 years ago. I roasted them until the 2nd crack for using them for espresso. They will have a 24 hours rest now to do a bit of chemistry after the roasting and will be enjoyed by tomorrow morning. See the different stages on the pictures. Green - lightly roasted (for filter coffee) and - dark roasted for espresso.
