This is a short film made in 2014, directed by Nacho Uriel and written by Mario Míguez. It is shot in the San Rafael Hospital in Madrid that belongs to the Hospitaller Order of the Brothers of San Juan de Dios.
The charming little #DaphneKeen (@DafneKeen) embodies the spirit who crosses the hospital to take the pomegranate (symbol of the Hospitable Order) to the patients. The spirit of hospitality, which is the hallmark of the Order, is collected poetically. The verses delivered (in Spanish) is a poem entitled ‘Nunca Sabes Quién Es…’, written exclusively by Míguez for this project and recited by the author himself.
The excellent original music is composed by Macros Cruz. The photography director is Raquel Quintana. This short film was supported and promoted by the Head of Human Resources at San Rafael Hospital, Raquel González-Pineda.
All members who had participated in the realisation of this project had done so voluntarily and out of generosity, without any personal gains.
This is translated and edited from the original text in Spanish.
