Funday Friday and Glute work had been completed! I'll admit I did not have the energy I anticipated this morning because I had cupcakes and a Mountain Dew as a pre work out (not an optimal choice) but sometimes it happens at going away luncheons! This means lean protein and fibrous carbs the rest of the evening! Don't skip leg day!!!

Leg day was a success!!! Not without a struggle though... This was the 7th week I've done this workout and I've had really great progress, but all this week has been difficult to get every rep in at the weights I projected. Several days there was no drive to go to the gym at all or finish out each set. I think my body is about ready for a change. Goodness knows I will enjoy tomorrow off!

Happy HOW TO Sunday 💁🏼 - Oblique Crunches, Legs up on chair or bench. This works your rectus abdominus and the internal and external obliques to chisel your torso and slim your waist!
Exhale as you raise your torso by contracting your abs and bring your arms to the outside of one knee; pause at the top. Inhale as you lower yourself and then repeat to the other side.

Day 2 of my mini 7 Day Booty Sculpting Exercise Series! I'm keeping things simple with exercises you can do at home.
For stomach lying leg raises, lie flat on your stomach and simply lift one leg at a time off of the floor, sweeping your gluteus Maximus at the top. Point your toes for an increased glute focus and flex your foot for a quad focus! This also stretches out and utilized the muscles of your lower back/ erector spinae.

Leg day was a success!!! Not without a struggle though... Week 5 progress pictures, unfiltered, no posing, just raw 90 degree angles and my mismatched socks... No judgement, that's normal! My current macros have increased which is exciting! I've progressed to 255-265 carbs daily, fats remain at 45-50 and protein remains around 125. My weight fluctuates between 126 and 128 depending on the day so I'm happy with that! Thanks for staying posted with my journey!

Happy Sunday and its Day 7 of my How To Booty Sculpting Exercises! Today I've demonstrated glute bridges from a raised surface, which is very similar to the glute bridges on a flat surface, though there is a larger range of motion with this exercise! Your hips go lower than they would on the way down than if you were on a flat surface. Notice your hamstrings and your gastrocnemius muscles (back of calves) are engaged here as well.
