Good Burger ~ PG ~ 1997 | A high school student is forced to work at a fast food restaurant where competition strikes from right across the street. | QUOTE: "Welcome to Good Burger home of the good burger, can I take your order?" | Holy 90s talk about guilty pleasure! Good Burger is one of my favorite Nickelodeon movie, on par with The Spongebob Movie. It's incredibly underrated, considering its 5.7 on IMDb. The characters are all fun, especially Ed and Dexter (the two protagonists) even if they aren't fully developed correctly. The story wouldn't actually happen, but I like how unrealistic it is because it's goofy, corny and above all idiotic. This movie is a joyride, from one scene following the next and it's very intriguing. There's not a single scene that I felt was dragged out or boring, since everything is actually done correctly even if it's a yo-yo to represent friendship on one side and selfishness on the other. I love how it's jam packed with one liners and reoccurring lines by the main character that make it all memorable. There's really not too much detail I can go into to explain this movie, but it's definitely a guilty pleasure. The comedy isn't for everyone, but if you like those childish feel-good movies ike Heavy Weights then it should be a fun watch for you. Oh, and I definitely want to make Ed Sauce this summer. 8/10.
