Happiness is completely subjective, as only you can determine if you are happy, or what makes you happy. Think about it. Your definition of happiness is likely very different from mine- Life is wonderful that way. We have so much in common, yet we are all so very different. Find what makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside and wrap yourself up with that. "...The fact that we often judge the pleasure of an experience by its ending can cause us to make some curious choices..." If you don't actually know what really makes you happy, or you're interested in further reading into this thought process, I'd recommend reading Stumbling on Happiness by Daniel Todd Gilbert, quoted above. It's worth noting that if you're not interested in psychology, you probably won't like it- but it is pretty tongue in cheek, and a thought provoking read.
