Forgot to post this yesterday! **Transformation Tuesday!** (yes I know it's now Wednesday. ..) The "me" on the left had just run a half marathon (in Disney, wearing a tutu, obvi 😉 ). I thought I was in shape, and I thought I would just have to get used to my new mom-bod that appeared after baby #2 because it wasn't going away. I was counting points, and running, and the weight wasn't budging. Why not? Well, to be frank - because I was doing it all wrong!
I was eating "low calorie" snacks like those little nuggets of chemicals-flavored-like-chocolate that they sell at Weight Watchers. I was doing all. the. cardio. And ONLY cardio, because that made me sweat and weights were for dudes who wanted big muscles. This is what I was supposed to do, right?
WRONG OMG NO. That is NOT what I was supposed to do! What I was SUPPOSED to do was eat REAL food! Stop counting points and start paying attention to what was going in my body instead of how many calories it had. I was supposed to LIFT THE WEIGHTS. Cardio is great but muscles are greater. (huh? just go with it. lol). I was confused and frustrated and not getting anywhere until I was introduced to working out from home and eating healthy the right way. Four years later and I have never looked back!
