The Tony Romo "Cold war" continues now nearly 3 weeks into free agency. Houston and Denver still remain the highest possibilities for Romo but more so the Texans. Reports have come in that the Cowboys may hold onto him until after the draft.
The Cowboys want some type of compensation for Romo, whether that be draft picks or a defensive player via trade. However, The Texans believe Romo will eventually be released. Jerry is trying to make a team desperate for a QB as we get closer to the season.. But right now we're in a stalemate where each team is waiting for something to happen. Or Romo can just retire which has been considered as well. Best case scenario is some team suddenly strikes a deal setting off a bidding war for Romo. Which would be good news for us!
