"When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?" (Psalm 8:3-4). A nice evening run to remind me of how finite I am and how gloriously He cares for even me. 🏃🏻🌙
"We run, not because we think it is doing good, but because we enjoy it and cannot help ourselves . . . The more restricted our society and work become the more necessary it will be to find some outlet for this craving for freedom." - Sir Roger Bannister
A heat index of 105 today in Louisville pushed me inside for my evening run on the "dreadmill!" I know it may have its benefits and uses, but each time I run on the treadmill is a reminder of how much I loath it! I think I will face the heat next time. 🏃🏻☀️
