We had such a fun day at @the_malibu_cafe yesterday playing games and drinking rose in the sun! 😀

I am unwell ✨ for the past three weeks my neck has gotten more and more stiff ✨ I'm now like Uncle Fester in the Addams Family ✨ I have limited rotation to the left ✨ it hurts to move it to the right ✨ it's radiating down to my right hand ✨ it's escalating up to my right orbital bone above my eye ✨ I haven't taken ibuprofen for years but I took two tonight ✨ but I've decided to treat myself with tumeric and black pepper ✨it's naturally anti inflammatory ✨I'm hoping this carrot ✨ ginger ✨ fresh and dried turmeric ✨ and black pepper juice will reduce the inflammation ✨ I don't think I've injured myself ✨ it's not yoga ✨ I think it may br lifestyle related ✨ time to look at my daily habits again ✨✨ #turmeric #curcurmin #antiinflammatory #holistic #neckpain #tumericandblackpepper #naturalhealing #ibuprofen #dailyhabits

I've been doing a lot of dreaming lately, and visualising what I want my future to look like. We can't always control the outcome, but can set ourselves on a path in the direction of our dreams. *

There are 4 main practices I like to start my day with. Try them every morning for a week and see what a difference it can make! -
*Gratitude - focusing on one thing I'm grateful for each day reminds me of the incredible abundance in my life...instead of focusing on what I don't have. This is also a great way to start your day with a positive mindset.

*Goal setting - what would I like to achieve today? This is where I set a goal. What about for this week, or month, year or 5 years? Set one goal for each, write them down and think about them each morning. -
*Visualization - this is a very powerful tool in achieving your goals and intentions. Think about a goal that you've set, close your eyes, and imagine that you have achieved that goal. Let yourself experience the emotions around your dreams and goals, as if they were already realized.

*Meditation - to settle my busy mind and to strengthen my inner wisdom. A commitment of 5 minutes each morning is a great way to get in to the meditation habit. Then set your alarm for every couple of hours and just take a 2 minute bite sized meditation moment to reset, find some clarity and get rid of any negativity that may have crept in throughout your day.

Day 15 - Memorial Day - home with kiddos and just never did the workout... Today is Day 16 - didn't want to wake up, but got up and worked out. And did I break a sweat! I was dripping... My body feels amazing... Drinking my shake and then off to the shower... Today is going to be a great day!
