In an ideal week I will live fire, dry fire, work Strength and conditioning. Overall strength, especially grip strength and cueing huge for me in managing recoil and being a consistent shooter. I got a chance to talk with @mad_scientist_duffin and @brandon_senn on @kabukistrengthlab Strenght Chat a few weeks ago. Check out the podcast episode 33 on Apple or Google. @mrsnarc1911 and I have started adding strongman type work (such as the log pictured here) into our workouts for fun and a new challenge. This is in addition to our typical powerlifitng style workouts. Dryfire is probably the most underrated training technique and often done wrong. I will use a combination of my real guns cleared, with dummy rounds in my dryfire routine. Then obviously everything has to be confirmed in live fire. Here are just some of the training tools I use on a weekly basis: Kabuki "Anti Fragile" lifting belt, along with the Shoulderok. @mbslingshot sleaves @dynamicweaponsolutions Glock 19 with @mayhem_syndicate comp @actiontarget PT hostage steel target @bravocompanyusa rifle (full specs on comments) @gargoyleseyewear glasses Atlas stone Sand filled keg for lifting @ironmind captains of crush grippers
