Homemade pizza. 🍕 dough recipe makes 2 large or 3 small crusts. Recipe is basically Tyler Florence’s (Food Network chef). I made two batches for 4 crusts. For each batch, add 1 pack of yeast to mixer bowl and add 1 tsp sugar and 1 cup warm water (pic2). Stir and let sit for about 10 minutes until bubbly/frothy. Add 1 tbsp kosher salt and 2 tbsp olive oil and turn on mixer with dough hook (pic3). Turn mixer on low and add 3 cups of flour (I use APF but bread flour works well too, maybe even better) slowly adding it in as the mixer runs (pic4). Let mixer run on low until dough comes together in a ball, stopping to scrape bowl with spatula if needed. Add more water if too dry or more flour if too sticky, only adding a tbsp at a time. Dump dough ball out onto floured counter and knead several times (pic5). Form into ball and place in lightly oil lined bowl (pic6). Cover bowl with plastic wrap and place in warm spot for about and hour. I turn on the oven for a few minutes and then off then place the bowls inside. After an hour, separate dough into 2 or 3 equal pieces (pic7) and let sit for 10 minutes under a clean dish towel. Heat oven to 475-500• Roll out crusts to desired thickness (about 1/8” for us) while little fingers poke it and mess with the flour (pic8). Place crust on borrowed pizza screens (thanks @3bros7bows) or hot pizza stone. Add 1/2cup sauce (pic9, jarred Marinara from Aldi!) and shredded mozzarella and toppings of your choice, our kids like pepperoni and banana peppers. Easy baked chicken recipe. Preheat to 400• Spray or coat lightly with olive oil for crispiness and season chicken thighs and drumsticks however you like, these are just salt, pepper, onion powder, seasoned salt. Cajun seasoning works well too. Leave skin side up on thighs to make skin crispy. Bake for 45 minutes then swap tray positions in oven. Cook for about 30 minutes more or longer, I left these in for another 45. We don’t like jibbery chicken skin around here. And I don’t think you can overcook dark meat, it won’t dry out, just gets nice and tender-fall off the bone and crispy. Am I saying crispy too much? Coat with bbq sauce if you like and bake for a few more minutes, but be careful, the sugary bbq sauce will burn quick. #dadcooks #bigfamilymeals #feedyourkidsrealfood #feedanarmy #largefamily

少し前に作ったナゾのドライカレー。
いやドライカレーは別にナゾではなくて、玉ねぎとニンニクと生姜と挽肉とキノコとトマトペーストとカレー粉その他で作った普通な感じなんだが、盛り付けがね。変だよね。
ゆで卵、1個で2人前にしてすればよかったのに、2個茹でて剥いて切っちゃったので乗せてみたら目みたいになったから「こりゃ鼻も必要か」とミニトマトを乗せたらこうなった。もう少しカレーを下に寄らせて口もつければドラえもん風になったのにな。
