Deficits deadlifts 🏋🏽
Standing on a small platform while performing deadlift can increase your over-all strength in a standard deadlift by a lot. Because of the enlarged ROM (Range of motion) you'll add a new stress to the hamstrings, glutes and the lower back which requires more muscle fibers being activated. And you'll become stronger in the bottom position (weak point)
If you have longer arms, like I have, you're gonna work great with the deficit DL. But you still have to EXTRA observant about your lower back ☝🏼️ It's REALLY important that you have your technique on point if performing deadlifts, no matter what variation you're going for.
I'm doing this atm for posterior workoutr:
A 5x8 deficit dead (85kg)
B1 4x10 Bulgarian Split squats
B2 4x10 Seated good mornings
C Nordic hamstring raises 3x6-8
