Someone wrote to me the other day:
"The best way to make decisions is to think of it like this: will I want to remember myself being unhappy and self conscious in this body in the next 50 years? Or am I going to want to remember myself as being strong, free, and taking chances and opportunities as they arise?"
It really stuck with me; I think so often I'm stuck in the present and encompassed by my feelings in THAT moment, instead of considering how proud or happy I'll be in the future if I just stopped worrying and DID WHAT I WANTED.
I currently work with a girl with a few exceptionalities and every day she reminds me how important it is to be positive and fearless. She is always the first one to say hi to someone new or to ask someone how they're feeling. People fall in love with her immediately and she makes them laugh until they cry.
She inspires me to live more candidly and more freely.
I want to move from the present to thinking about how the future me will look back on the life I've led.
Life is WAY TOO DAMN SHORT not to take chances, step outside your comfort zone, wear what you want, tell people you love them, and make others smile.
Today, I'm feeling so many things. But this is all I will say.
And, I love all of you.
This bathing suit is from @mimihammer and is so friggin cute. They are an amazing body positive company located in Montreal. I've fallen in love with this suit - new staple piece 💗🎉🙌🏼
