A lot entrepreneurs (myself inclusive) spend a lot resources and pay attention to our brands (in this case the external perception of our businesses..i.e aesthetics) but neglect the internal facet of branding which is a matching and well crafted organizational culture. The effect could be disastrous. And often, it is. For me, it was an especially tough lesson with not too palatable consequences. So if you neglect your organizational culture and spend resources on outward brand campaigns, I liken that to pouring buckets of water into a rain storm!
