What you don’t see in this picture is the COMPLETE #mindsetshift that Has taken place.
25 years old, no kids, newly married grad student, counting points, microwaved “healthy” meals, running several miles daily (had just completed my 3rd half marathon), plus an hour + at the gym. Even though i was so uncomfortable in my skin, absolutely self conscious in everything I wore and hated the number on the scale....I still totally thought I had this health and fitness thing under control. .

About to celebrate my 32nd birthday, 3 kids, 8 months postpartum business owner, eating over 2,100 calories a day but paying no attention to the number-focus purely on portions, combo of lifting and cardio for 45-60 minutes a day in my living room, all while exclusively #breastfeeding the baby. I wore freaking booty shorts to work out in and rocked them with confidence, I sported a bikini at the beach—and even though after a day of indulging on #allthefood and drinks my abs were hiding I still FELT amazing and oh ya, I have NO idea what the number on the scale says.
Beyond the physical transformation my MIND has transformed even more. My confidence and self image is something i know I control, and while I still have days that I struggle, I have never been more at peace with exactly where I am than right now!!
I just shared with my brand new challengers that diving into personal development does for your mind what exercise does for your muscles. If you want to reach your goals, whatever they are, your mind has to believe you can achieve it or you will stop yourself EVERY time. .
That’s one of our main focuses in this group—yes we’re doing some amazing workouts and the eating plan in on point but if you don’t train your mind, you’re going to find excuses!
