If you are struggling, if you are scared of giving birth, if you have suffered trauma (either mentally or physically) then find someone to speak to. Your GP, your health visitor, a talking therapist, your osteopath, an acupuncturist, your midwife. Just please, don’t suffer in silence.
I am based in Neal’s Yard, Clapham but there are amazing therapists to be found everywhere and your GP is there for you.
So please, whatever the problem is, just reach out for help 💕.

This is real life, been up since 3am with this chic. Apparently she just wants to hang out, yesterday she was up at 5 (my workout time) and then went back to sleep and didn’t want to wake up when it was time to go.

Life happens. Workouts get skipped. Pizza gets ate. But hey we move those workouts to a different day and make sure our nutrition is on point the rest of the week. I have learned to not stress the small stuff we only have one life to live. I’m going to enjoy this extra time with my sweet girl and be happy I have three rest days with my current workout program haha.

Soooo... flat tummy after #pregnancy. It is a 2 phase factor. You need to strengthen you core, especially your #tvaband ( Transversus abdominis muscle) This muscle pulls your core in like a corset, giving you a tighter midsection and keeping your belly from “hanging “ like you see in my center photo with a relaxed tummy. The photo right next to him is contracted. See the difference? After pregnancy you need to “retrain” this muscle to activate and get stronger again to support your core.
V E R Y important, you can still strengthen this muscle and get a flatter tummy at any stage that you decide to actually strengthen this muscle. Not just post baby!
I’m only #4monthspostbaby , and haven’t been doing any abs training, only focusing on strengthening my core and tva band.
The other factor is simple. Fatloss... You need to eat in your caloric range.

These last two days have been some of the longest and most tiring of my life. We got admitted to the hospital Monday night to get ready for induction in the morning. Unfortunately by Tuesday evening my body still wasn’t ready, so my doctor decided a C-Section would be best. I have never been so scared, but with @n.whalen by my side, we delivered this handsome boy into the world. I’m exhausted and in desperate need of a shower, but little man is so happy sleeping right on my chest I just can’t move him. #babyboy #csection #skintoskin

Are you stuck making excuses as to why you cannot exercise???
➖I have no time➖I am exhausted
➖I can't afford it➖I have children
➖I work till late ➖You just don’t understand..
Well no, actually I do understand. This is life for most of us. We all have pressures, difficulties, responsibilities, some more than others of course however I’m a strong believer that it’s all a matter of priorities.
Nobody can make you get up and do it but you.
Here are a few tips to help you get started or stay on track:
Firstly and most importantly ➖Check your attitude, no more complaining, no more blaming and no more negativity! That stops right now! ➖Plan your training days. Schedule them in to your diary. Eg: Monday 6am, Wednesday 5pm and Saturday 9am. Even if you are exercising at home. Whatever and wherever it is, schedule in the time every week. Commit to it, and do not make any other plans during those times. DO NOT change your scheduled times, just like a meeting or an appointment, you must stick to it. The only time you should cancel is when you are unwell. Once you start changing things around, it's that easy to loose momentum.
➖Plan what you are doing each day:
Monday - boxing
Tuesday - glutes and legs
Wednesday - walk, etc
➖Write down your goals and set targets. That may look like a list, pictures, or quotes. Whatever works for you. Visit that regularly.
➖If you’re exercising first thing in the morning, do not snooze your alarm. Have absolutely everything ready. Training gear, water bottle, keys. You don’t want to make things difficult first think in the morning.
➖If you’re training during or after work, take your training gear with you. If you go home, your less likely to leave again. ➖Buy some new training gear and keep it displayed. Visual cues are a wake up call to your brain.
➖Get a training partner, you're less likely to cancel on your friend.
➖Take progress shots for yourself or start posting your progress on social media - makes you more accountable and offers you more support. Don't feel silly, everyone is doing it!
➖Get some good music to train with, music increases your endurance by 15 percent.
